Artemis Research is a leading Principal Investigator and Patient Focused clinical research company dedicated to advancing medical treatments. Established in 2008 by colleagues who bring more than 50 years of combined research experience, Artemis specializes in Psychiatry/Neurology, Internal Medicine, and Women’s Health studies. With multiple locations serving Southern California including San Diego, San Marcos and Riverside, each Artemis site is fully equipped to conduct complex clinical research trials.
Position Overview:
Under the supervision of
the Director of Operations, the Research Assistant will be
responsible for supporting various activities associated with the day-to-day
operations of the research Site.

Pay Range: $13-$15 based on experience
Location: San Diego
Travel: 10%
Work Schedule: Monday- Thursday 8:30 am -5:00 pm; Friday 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
Description of Responsibilities:
- Front office duties
- Filing
- Requesting medical and pharmacy records
- Proper documentation, entry of data, and uploading documents into appropriate systems
- Room patients
- Perform urine drug screens, vitals, phlebotomy, and EKGs
- Assist with scheduling subject appointments
- Clean, stock, and maintain department supplies and equipment in accordance with policy and duties as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Competencies:
- Customer service experience and ability to calmly and professionally resolve customer issues with diplomacy and tact
- Follows established systems to optimize efficiency and quality
High degree of organization and planning: Plan, organizes, schedules in an efficient, productive manner, focusing on key priorities
High level of communication: Speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being verbose
Sets high standards: Expects personal performance and team performance to be nothing short of the best
A strong work ethic: Willing to step in to assist the team when needed

Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum education: High school diploma; Associates Degree or equivalent preferred
- Medical Assistant Certificate or similar certification is preferred
