Senior Software Engineer | Cloud

What you will be doing

• Engineer the cloud security platform of the future
• Analyze production traffic in search of flaws
• Test and document your code, create diagrams
• Critical analysis and optimization of the current codebase
• Work on next-generation distributed systems for operations management
• Build and architect systems for managing extremely large-scale global fleets of resources
• Interface directly with internal teams, users and OPSWAT customers

What we need from you

• Previous experience in backend development
• Willing to work with multiple languages like JavaScript, Python or Golang
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience working with Linux and Docker
• Experience building or operating a large scale Cloud service
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and RPC
• Able to knowledgeably discuss performance, security, and user interactions in complex systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment

Nice to have

• Previous experience with NodeJS
• Experience with other backend technologies (C#, Java, C++, and others)
• Experience with an MVC or MVVM framework
• Experience with CI/CD
• AWS or any other cloud provider
• ELK and Kafka knowledge/experience
• Knowledge of working with and operating Kubernetes clusters
• Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure automation frameworks 
• Experience developing & maintaining high volume/high performance distributed applications
