QA/QC Lead (Secure Network)

The position

The position will play an important role in assuring the quality of OPSWAT cybersecurity technologies and products at the highest level. We are looking for a QA lead who will lead a QA team to ensure quality for a product that focuses on the discovery, visualization, monitoring, and access control of critical networks. You will have an opportunity to work with both local and remote teams around the world.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead a QA team
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including planning, establishing metrics, applying best practices and processes to ensure quality goals are met
• Ensure all tasks defined for each release meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, issue tracking, and reporting
• Lead QA team to identify and perform different types of testing for each release including API testing, functional testing, integration testing, usability testing, compatibility testing, performance testing, security testing, regression testing
• Hands-on manual and automated test to share the workload with the team
• Handle customer escalation such as creating reproducible bug reports or help troubleshoot

What We Need From You

• Experience in leading a QA team
• Good at both verbal and written English communication
• Experience in testing UI/UX
• Good knowledge of REST API and experience in testing REST API
• Experience in a testing application using SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Practical experience in using Linux and testing software on Linux
• A good foundation of System/Networking skills
• Able to write test automation using any scripting or programming languages such as Python, Groovy, JavaScript, Java

It Would Be Nice If You Have

• Familiar with working in Agile team
• Familiar with JIRA, TeamCity, Git
• System and/or network administration skills (MCP and/or LPI certificates are welcomed)
• Cybersecurity domain experience, including file security, device security, network security and etc..
• Bachelor or Master degrees in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Sciences or Mathematics
