Frontend Engineer (JavaScript, English)

What you will be doing

• Build what will become the #1 cloud cybersecurity platform
• Design and deliver visual experiences for our cloud solution
• Collaborate early and often with engineers and product managers
• Working with a wide range of technologies
• Independently track down and solve flaws in functionality 
• Use your expertise to train and mentor junior members of the team

What we need from you

• Proven ability to work in JavaScript, learning from and contributing to a team committed to continually improving skills
• Solid programming skills in JavaScript, HTML 5 and CSS (including patterns & best practices)
• Experienced in many JavaScript frontend frameworks (such as React, Bootstrap, Bulma) 
• Experience building fast and reusable, UI components under MVC or MVVM frameworks
• Good understanding of best practices of building cross-browser, device-independent interfaces and RESTful web services
• Ability to articulate the design process and decisions through great written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• Good English communication for both speaking and writing

It Would Be Nice If You Had:

• Previous experience designing and maintaining complex UIs
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google)
• Good understanding of Web Security & OWASP standards (e.g., Web penetration testing, XSS)
• Familiarity configuring & using CI / CD
• Comfortable with bash, Linux and Docker
• Familiarity with Git and branching models
• Experience with Jira, Confluence
