DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join our new Malware Analysis team and participate in the design, implementation, deployment, and operation of our novel service. As a member of our team in VESZPRÉM, you will be involved in every stage of the system development and operation lifecycle.

The Position

The DevOps Engineer will work in a development team to develop and operate the product.  This position will perform monitoring, performance testing, and automation too.

What You Will Be Doing

• Identify and troubleshoot platform issues

• Monitor performance and reliability of Linux and Windows systems and services

• Create and establish malware analysis platforms and tools from open source components

• Implement scripts in Python and Bash to automate the platforms mentioned above

• Operate the infrastructure of the malware analysis lab

• Work with development, staging, QA, and production systems deploying software throughout the service lifecycle

What We Need From You

• Experience with virtualization/containerization for both development and production environments such as Docker

• Experience with Linux & Web Services, such as Apache/Nginx

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills 

• Effective organizational skills to support a consistently high standard of operations

• Scripting skills in at least one language such as Bash and Python

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to document findings

• Full understanding of both Linux and Windows environments

It Would Be Nice If You Had

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible

• Experience in debugging and performance tuning in a production environment

• Domain knowledge in distributed systems, concurrency control, data replication, data recovery, storage systems, query processing, or optimization

• Network troubleshooting and remediation

• Cybersecurity background or understanding in the field

• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum working environment

• Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, TeamCity
