Job Description
MetaDefender Cloud is one of the leading online security tools. Mostly built using Javascript, the platform offers static file analysis and insight on todays hottest malware. You will be working with a young team located in the same office. You will be responsible of delivering a security product to fight against cyber terrorists, touching most of the technology stack.
The job starts in the frontend, were the request starts, and goes to the backend, and all the way down to the database.
You will be working on a product that serves millions of people, and with a database of hundreds of millions of files, all of which require 99.99% uptime.
What you will be doing
- Engineer the cloud security platform of the future
- Design military-grade code quality
- Analyze production traffic in search of flaws
- Test and document your code
- Critical analysis and optimization of the current codebase
- Work on next-generation distributed systems for operations management
- Build and architect systems for managing extremely large-scale global fleets of resources
- Interface directly with internal teams, users and OPSWAT customers
- Enjoy a great time along with a young and fun team
What we need from you
- Previous experience in backend development
- Willing to work with NodeJS
- Experience working with databases
- Experience working with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience building or operating a large scale Cloud service
- Able to knowledgeably discuss performance, security, and user interactions in complex systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment
Nice to have
- Previous experience with NodeJS
- Experience with other backend technologies (C#, Java, C++, Python, and others)
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience with an MVC or MVVM framework
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience with CI/CD
- AWS or any other cloud provider
- Elasticsearch knowledge/experience
- Experience developing & maintaining high volume/high performance distributed applications
