AP/AR Specialist

Notley is in search of an AP/AR Specialist that has a strong background in Accounting. This position is located in East Austin, TX and is a full-time role. The ideal candidate will be professional, amiable, eager to learn, and will take sole ownership of the given responsibilities.

Responsibilities may vary but include:

  • Handle accounts payable invoices for multiple nonprofit and for-profit entities

  • Process accounts receivable for multiple nonprofit and for-profit entities

  • Reconcile corporate credit cards and expense reimbursements

  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders and internal staff

  • Ensure high-quality standards are embedded in our transactions and systems

  • Maintain an organized digital filing system

  • Manage expectations for timely completion of tasks and projects

  • Provide feedback and suggestions that both solve problems and improve performance

  • Maintain a respectful and cheerful demeanor

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is strongly preferred (an Accounting Certification will also be considered)

  • 1-4 years of AP and AR experience

  • Adept at processing high volumes and variety of AP and AR

  • High level of comfort with general ledger accounting including working knowledge of GAAP

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Direct and related experience in accounting and a fast-growing business

  • Experience with Netsuite and Salesforce is a plus

  • Experience with nonprofit accounting is a plus
