Job Summary/Description
Under the supervision of the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program's (PDMP) Compliance Officer this position will support efforts to ensure the compliance of prescribers and dispensers to the requirements and policies of the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• PDMP General Communications: Under the direction of the Compliance Officer, organize all compliance communications according to established categories and priorities.
• Pharmacy Compliance: Follow-up on PDMP compliance communications to pharmacies; monitor pharmacy data reporting in response to compliance communications. Assist with outreach communications to pharmacies, monitor and document outreach. Regularly review compliance lists and monitor pharmacy license status.
• Pharmacy Error System: Assist the PDMP in the development, implementation and utilization of a tracking system for pharmacy error compliance.
• Waivers: Process and monitor waiver applications through a workflow and send approved waivers to applicants. Assist Compliance Officer in streamlining the waiver process. Monitor and update the tracking of all renewal and active waivers.
• Compliance with Registration Requirements: Assist in monitoring responses to email and mail communications coming from prescribers and dispensers regarding PDMP registration requirements.
• Assist in other PDMP compliance activities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (business or related field).
• Strong analytical and communication (written and oral) skills.
• Experience working with large data set.
• Strong experience/knowledge of MS Excel, Word and SharePoint as well as other MS products.
• Experience working in a health care sector is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to function independently and as a member of a team
