Software Engineer (API & Visualization Team)

What You'll Do:

• Use your significant technology expertise to solve agriculture and climate related challenges.

• Be a key member of our API & visualization team, helping build our Next-gen data discovery/visualization tool and API product.

• Explore new methods and technologies to improve user experience and system performance.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver on the product vision.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong fundamentals in computer science (e.g algorithms, data structures)

• Familiar with modern web development concepts

• Experience with server-side JavaScript and one or more modern front end frameworks (e.g Angular, React)

• Proficient in HTML & CSS, understand design system and UI modularization

• Experience with API design and service implementation

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience

Bonus Points:

• Significant development experience in large-scale and highly interactive javascript applications

• Understanding of relational databases and distributed databases

• Experience with other backend languages (e.g python, Go, C++ ,Java)

• Experience with data visualization tools like D3, highchart

• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Knowledge of Search/NLP/Recommendation system
