We are hiring an Account Executive to join the Gro Intelligence headquarters in New York City. This is an individual contributor role responsible for owning the full Gro sales process. This role provides a tremendous opportunity for candidates who have been high performing Sales Development Representatives or Sales Associates (or similar) to accelerate their careers into full quota carrying sales roles. You will spend the initial 3-6 months of the role in a training program – you will learn about the industries Gro supports, the Gro product and the Gro sales process. Upon successful completion of the training program, you will graduate into a full quota bearing sales role.    

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales process from target identification through to closing
  • Proactively identify decision makers in strategic accounts through creative research
  • Secure meetings and Gro product demonstrations with high value prospects
  • Partner with industry specialist colleagues and present Gro Intelligence’s data platform to potential clients
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute valuable ideas
  • Work towards weekly targets in line with team goals
  • Communicate with product team and engineers about client-requested product development  

Qualifications:

  • A positive, can-do attitude. Successful candidates are gritty and resilient.
  • A passion and talent for sales and persuasion.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above from a 4-year accredited institution
  • 1-2 years sales development experience with a demonstrated track record of over-achievement
  • Exceptional written, oral, and presentation abilities
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Experience using various data products
  • Ability to work independently against tight deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members across functional roles and strong communication and leadership skills
