What You'll Do:

We are looking for experienced sales professionals who want to be part of a fast-paced, demanding, and constantly evolving entrepreneurial environment. Prior sales experience in either Saas / Tech companies and/or experience in the agriculture supply chain including seed/fertilizer companies, food & beverage, or food retail is preferred. We are looking for motivated people who enjoy working as a team and can be high-energy, dynamic and humble at the same time. 

  • Work with Account Executives on pitching and covering top 50 targets, as well as independently manage and lead relationships with targets outside the top 50.

  • Account management includes: 

    • Developing strategies of how to target specific companies and personas by working with marketing and analyst team

    • Creating custom pitch decks for prospects and lead the demo conversation 

    • Working with clients to understand needs and requirements and relay back to Gro team 

    • Ensuring client trial success by focusing clients’ trial and preparing necessary information in advance of trial commencement and continuing communication during trial in coordination with customer success

    • Working through contract negotiations and close agreements

    • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of project requirements according to customer needs and objectives

  • Work across all industry segments and share best practices with Account Executives and other Account Managers

  • Direct Junior Sales / SDRs in daily prospecting, non-Top 50 client outreach and Hubspot contact consistency

  • Work closely with the analyst, product and engineering team to incorporate client feedback into the Gro product 

What We're Looking For:

  • 5-10 years professional experience, ideally in Enterprise Sales 

  • Fluency in either Portuguese, Mandarin, or Spanish is preferred

  • Passion for, or familiarity with, agriculture, commodities, food systems, or the policy and financial environments around them 

  • Solid grasp of technical concepts - you don’t have to be a software engineer but you have to be able to explain software and be able to use software platforms.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year accredited institution
