VIDEO: associate producer, entertainment

Editorial | New York, NY | Full Time

Job Description

INSIDER is looking for a full-time associate producer to focus on telling compelling entertainment stories for our video team.

The role includes finding and pitching ideas for INSIDER's entertainment videos, as well as researching, writing, and producing scripts. The producer will also help cover timely entertainment stories like trailer launches and music video drops. The ideal candidate will have at least a few years of experience covering entertainment for a digital publication. If you'd be excited to produce videos about the 22 Details You Might Have Missed In the 'Game Of Thrones' Finale, and Where Hollywood Films All Its Plane Scenes, this could be the job for you.

Associate producers work closely with video editors, but they do not need to have video-editing experience, though it's a plus. We're looking for ambitious reporters who are passionate about pop culture, and can find and chase great stories and relay them to our audience in a compelling way. We seek out self-starters and people who are enthusiastic about collaborating with video producers, social media editors, and other team members.

This is a full-time position based out of our New York City headquarters. INSIDER offers competitive compensation packages complete with benefits.

INSIDER is great journalism about what passionate people actually want to know. That's everything from news to food, celebrity to science, politics to sports, and all the rest. It's smart. It's fearless. It's fun. We push the boundaries of digital storytelling. Our mission is to inform and inspire.

APPLY HERE with a resume and cover letter telling us why you're a fit for INSIDER and detailing your interest in entertainment and video.
