ABOUT This Position:

This position is for a finance generalist who seeks to build his/her career and embrace the opportunity to learn most aspects of finance and business operations of a dynamic organization.  Finance and Operations (FinOps) is a lean team of highly motivated operators with diverse skillsets and unique backgrounds. Responsibilities:

Day to day duties will include:  Perform ad-hoc financial analysis in support of CFO or Controller led initiatives, advance business efficiencies through the use of automation, create reports for cross-functional managers, support financial analysis on selected projects and customer contracts, managing and operating large data sets, departmental admin work as needed.

In addition to normal day to day duties, you will contribute to a data visualization project.  For this project, you will be asked to work with the high-level executives and leadership across the organization, in order to create a powerful, analytically driven, display of our how our business is performing operationally and financially. You will meet with stake-holders from all levels of the company, gather data from various sources, perform detailed analysis, develop impactful visuals, and develop an innovative vehicle to convey your results to the executive suite.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a 4-year undergraduate program
  • Business Major (Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.)
  • Must be available for at least 20 hours/week 
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
  • 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in Finance

Bonus Points:

  • Comfortable using MacBook
  • Python/SQL language
  • Experience in SAP, Google Data Studios, Microsoft Power BI
