Local Education Program Manager

US Programs (REACH) | Hybrid in MIAMI, FL | Full Time | From $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year

Job Description

Title: Local Education Program Manager - US (REACH)

Reporting: Position reports to Director of US Programs (REACH)

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

Location: Miami, FL

Flexibility: 3 days per week in office (Tu-Th) ; 2 days per week work from home (M/F)

Start Date: As soon as available

 

Description: Spearhead the execution and growth of CauseCamps, BLUE Club and the BLUE Young Leaders Program (BYLP). Work closely with the Director of US Programs to meet target KPI’s for program impact.

 

Key Objectives of Role:

 

  1. Assist in the strategy, development, execution, and distribution of CauseCamps (Grades 6th-8th)
    1. Work with Director of US Programs to establish action plan
    2. Serve as the Camp Director for CauseCamps
    3. Oversee development and promotion of CauseCamps throughout the academic school year
    4. Secure camp venue and transportation 
    5. Assist in compiling research on sustainability topics
    6. Meet with potential speakers and activity providers 
    7. Coordinate summer schedule with field trips and speakers 
    8. Prepare materials for camp activities and lessons throughout the summer 
    9. Prepare logistical arrangements for day-to-day camp management 
    10. Interview and hire camp counselors 
    11. Prepare and host training for camp counselors 
    12. Manage registrations and organize students into pods 
    13. Oversee operation of camp during the summer
  2. Assist in the strategy, development, and execution of the BLUE Club (Grades 9th-12th)
    1. Meet with local organizations to establish partnerships for co-hosted programing 
    2. Create calendar of service events and adventures 
    3. Create event pages for each service opportunity 
    4. Promote service events and adventures to target audience
  3. Assist in the strategy, development, execution, and distribution of the BLUE Young Leaders Program (BYLP)
    1. Work with Director of US Programs to establish action plan
    2. Develop application process for the BYLP and select program participants
    3. Work with Creative Director to finalize BYLP curriculum
    4. Facilitate 5-month program – 1 meeting per week
    5. Read applications and select student cohort 
    6. Work with partner organizations to develop and deliver lessons to cohort
    7. Promote program to partner educational/youth institutions 
    8. Brief and meet regularly with students 
    9. Plan and host pitch competition for students 
    10. Provide certificates and recommendation letters to graduating students
