Your Mission: Expand your technical skillset with exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

You will be an integral part of a team of knowledgeable technologists responsible for helping to build a nationwide cloud presence within the DoD for unclassified software development, analysis, and hosting. This is a multi-faceted position requiring you to spend time working with a large-scale domain environment, AWS services, and back-end resources to efficiently improve automation, aid collaboration efforts between customers and engineers, and streamline infrastructure processes.

What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):

• Active TS/SCI clearance w/ Polygraph
• CWIP Certification: IAT II
• At least 12 years of experience performing any combination of software development, software engineering, scripting, systems automation, or systems engineering.
• Experience with various operating systems, applications, environments, and cloud computing platforms to create IT automation and orchestration activities.
• Experience performing automation in Windows or Linux environments using scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud-based software-defined networking and infrastructure security tools
• Experience with cloud computing and virtualization platforms such as AWS, Azure, etc.
• Experience with Linux, software chain-of-trust, and golden image creation.
• Project management experience using JIRA, scheduling, etc.
• Experience operating within the security and risk management experience, and has the ability to explain risks and potential mitigations.
• BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study (An additional 4 years of IT experience can substitute for a BS Degree, 6 years for a Master’s, and 8 for a Ph.D.).
• At least one technical certification in systems engineering (e.g. INSOCE), Information Security (e.g. CISSP), Networking (e.g. CCNA), System Administration (e.g. RHCE, MCSE), virtualization (e.g. VCP), information systems management (e.g. ITIL), Project Management (e.g. PMP, Agile), or in other IT-related domain.
