Designer Support Intern

Customer Support | Oakland, CA | Full Time

Job Description

Reporting to the Designer Support Manager, the Designer Support Intern is a member of the Designer Support Team, you will work in a fast-paced startup that focuses on connecting designers with clients all over the world assisting the Designer side of our two customer bases.  

You’re seen as a positive and focused person amongst your peers -- as well as a creative, yet strategic problem solver.  You possess the ability to be self-sufficient yet work very well cross-functionally between multiple teams such as: Designer Support and Customer Support.  It’s a must to have superb written and verbal communication skills. You’re also very empathetic to all parties - customers, designers, and internal staff. You have strong analytical skills and you’re not afraid to ask questions. Lastly, you’re flexible in that you’re willing to adjust and operate outside of existing policies and rules when needed to pave the road less traveled.

Key Responsibilities

(include the following, but are not limited to the following) -- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.)

  • Providing email support in English to graphic designers

  • Using your knowledge in the graphic design and or art industry to assist in policing our community  to ensure we are continually curating a Designer Community driven by quality, honesty, and professionalism.

  • Review designer-to-designer copyright infringement notices/cases

  • Curate and build relationships with our  designers

  • Relaying designers' feedback on how we can improve our product to management

  • Identifying potential negative or crisis situation and applying conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues on social media platforms as well as the community forum.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal English skills

  • Knowledgeable in design

  • Comfortable communicating with designers globally

  • Able to time manage and work independently

  • Knowledgeable in Adobe Programs

  • Be highly motivated and organized

  • Have a fantastic attitude

  • Be able to reason and think critically

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills

This Position is hourly and requires 40 hours a week.
